Abstract

Nurses as the autonomous professionals have to face not only the commitment but also the challenge that involves generating the necessary knowledge to establish protocols that improve their caring actions, to offer guidelines,to facilitate the adoption of ideas and the standardization of specific nursing care. This article aims to reflect on the relationship between action protocols and the quality of nursing care for patients with Parkinson's disease In order to assure the Parkinson's disease patient quality of care it becomes necessary to embrace protocols that enable guiding, unifying and providing scientific bases nursing care actions which have a direct influence in the quality of care.
